Ryan Bomberger is an Emmy® Award-winning creative professional, international public speaker, columnist, factivist (fact-based activist), and author. He is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of The Radiance Foundation, a faith-based, life-affirming educational nonprofit organization he launched with his wife, Bethany Bomberger. The organization focuses on illuminating the intrinsic value and God-given purpose of every human life through creative campaigns, multimedia presentations, journalism, and community outreach on issues like abortion, adoption, fatherlessness, racism, gender identity, civil rights, free speech, and religious liberty. Bomberger’s personal story profoundly shapes his work: He was conceived in rape, but his biological mother chose to give him life and placed him for adoption at six weeks old. He was adopted into a loving, multiracial Christian family of 15 children (10 of whom were adopted), where he grew up appreciating diversity and overcoming challenges like depression. He is biracial (Black and White), an adoptee, and an adoptive father of four children (two adopted), along with Bethany, his wife and the foundation’s Executive Director. His notable achievements include authoring the book Not Equal: Civil Rights Gone Wrong (a compilation of articles and designs critiquing modern civil rights issues) and co-authoring groundbreaking children’s books He Is He and She Is She affirming biological sex and identity. Bomberger’s campaigns, such as anti-abortion billboards and the AdoptedAndLoved.com initiative, have garnered widespread media attention from outlets like The New York Times, Fox News, CNN, and ABC. He has faced legal challenges, including a lawsuit from the NAACP over a parody campaign (which they lost), and criticism from groups like Planned Parenthood and the ACLU. Through The Radiance Foundation, Bomberger advocates for adoption over abortion, works to defund Planned Parenthood (collaborating with figures like Dr. Alveda King), and promotes that every life—planned or unplanned—has purpose.
