Molly Smith

Molly Smith is the President of Cleveland Right to Life. She served as the organization’s executive director for over a decade before transitioning into her current position.  She has served on numerous Christian and pro-life boards over the past three decades both in the USA and Canada where she lived for 13 years.  She is a founding member of the Right To Life Action Coalition of Ohio and served on the board for several years.  She is also a founding member of Personhood Alliance, serving as President and now as a board member.  Molly is a board member of Protect Women Ohio, a coalition of pro-life pro-family organizations fighting to protect life in the womb as well as to support parental rights.  Molly is the chair of the Bringing America Back to Life Convention, an annual, national educational convention hosted by Cleveland Right to Life.

Molly’s foundational Christian education from a Catholic missionary church in Africa is what has sustained her strong and passionate defense of all human life.  She was grounded in the fundamental principles of Natural Law and this knowledge is what has equipped her to recognize and expose the destruction of these principles in society.

Molly has a B.A. in Communication from Cleveland State University and has extensive non-profit fundraising, management, and program experience.  Molly has testified before the Ohio Senate and has appeared on national and local TV and Radio programs.  She has represented Cleveland Right to Life at national and international prolife and profamily conventions.  Molly, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen has lived in Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Canada.

She and her husband Joe have been married for 51 years and have 5 married children and 21 grandchildren.
