“2017 Update on Religious Liberty, Life, and Ethics”

Hour 1:
Headlining the event is Kevin Theriot, Esq., Senior Counsel from Alliance Defending Freedom. He will speak about religious freedom in the medical workplace in his presentation “Free to Do No Harm: Freedom of Conscience for Health Care Professionals.
Hour 2:
For the first half hour of Professional Conduct we’ll hear from Joshua McCaig, Esq. from the National Lawyers Association on the ABA’s attorney misconduct provision in:”The ABA’s Model Rule 8.4 (g): Ethical and Constitutional Considerations.”
During the second half hour Marilyn Crisafi, Esq., president of Advocati, will present a topic on substance abuse called, “Twenty-First Century Addictions: Losing Lawyers to Heroin and Pornography”
Hour 3:
Our third hour is a dynamic panel featuring Brian Hurley, Esq., Of Counsel for the Cincinnati, Ohio law firm of Schroeder, Maundrell, Barbiere & Powers. Mr. Hurley will lead the panel, along with Mr. Theriot and Mr. McCaig, in a discussion regarding full disclosures at abortion clinics. The panel is titled, “Whose Choice IS it? The Abortion Distortion hits Risk Disclosure of Informed Consent”
