Joshua McCaig is a shareholder at one of the 100 largest law firms in the United States and is the President of the National Lawyers Association . He is an international advocate of religious liberty, having organized the Religious Liberty Summit to discuss religious freedom in the United States and led an effort by the National Lawyers Association to file an amicus brief in the Hobby Lobby case. Joshua is currently the chair of an international initiative to create the Catholic Bar Association, a professional organization for Catholic attorneys, judges, and politicians. Through his work on the board of the Language and Catechetical Institute, he is co-chairing an international legal symposium in Austria devoted to exploring the foundational principles of law. Joshua has served on the Public Policy Committee of the Missouri Catholic Conference, is the founder and past president of the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Kansas City, is a co-founder of the Junior Board of Catholic Charities in Kansas City-St. Joseph, and sits on the boards of Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph, the Language and Catechetical Institute, and the National Lawyers Association. Joshua is recognized in his profession by his peers with an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell, selection as a SuperLawyer in Missouri & Kansas from 2011 through 2014 and achieved the Up and Coming Lawyer award in 2013 from Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
