Kevin Wells is a Catholic author, speaker, evangelist, and the Director of Public Relations for Sisters of Mary World Villages for Children, a nonprofit organization that supports the Sisters of Mary in providing education, care, and vocational training to over 20,000 impoverished children in Boystowns and Girlstowns across several countries. He is a former Major League Baseball writer and award-winning journalist who previously worked as a sports reporter for outlets like the Tampa Tribune. After careers in journalism and as a building contractor, Wells transitioned to full-time Catholic writing, speaking, and advocacy. He survived a near-fatal brain aneurysm in 2009, an experience that deepened his faith and inspired his calls for radical, bold Catholicism. Wells is the best-selling author of several books, including: The Priests We Need to Save the Church, Priest and Beggar: The Heroic Life of Venerable Aloysius Schwartz, The Hermit: The Priest Who Saved a Soul, a Marriage, and a Family. He is deeply involved in promoting the legacy of Venerable Fr. Aloysius Schwartz and frequently writes and speaks about the mission of World Villages for Children. He served as president of the Monsignor Thomas Wells Society for Vocations, dedicated to supporting strong priests and seminarians. His youth work earned him the James Cardinal Hickey National Figure Award from the Archdiocese of Washington. Wells lives in Millersville, Maryland, with his wife and three children.
