Hadley Arkes, the Edward N. Ney Professor of Jurisprudence & American Institution at Amherst College, speaking at the 2014 Bringing America Back to Life Symposium on: “Taking Stock and Looking Ahead: A Political Strategy for the Pro-Life Movement”. Arkes is an American political scientist, the author of many books on politics, political philosophy, and jurisprudence, and the Edward N. Ney Professor of Jurisprudence and American Institutions at Amherst College in Massachusetts, where he has taught since 1966.

Hadley Arkes serves on the advisory board and writes for First Things. His numerous articles have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Weekly Standard, and National Review. Arkes helped craft the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act of 2002 and teaches that abortion can never be justified.
