Workshops

The following workshops are provided to empower our members to become actively involved in the defense of all human life.  The workshops will be held in Conference Room #2 which is off the main atrium (see map in program booklet).

Friday March, 10th 1:30 to 3:30:
“The Steps of Building a Relationship with Pregnant Women”

Anne Pierson, President of Loving and Caring and Stacy Knox, Program Director of Spirit of Faith Adoptions will combine their years of experiences of counseling women during unplanned pregnancies and provide the participants with a live demonstration of an initial counseling session. There will be time for Q&A and discussion.

Each participant will receive a complimentary copy of Anne Pierson’s counseling workbook: “The Me I See”.

2.0 CEU’s for Ohio Social Workers and Counselors will be offered free of charge.

Saturday March 11th, 10:30 to Noon:
“Who Has The Duty To Defend Life & Liberty?”

Sheriff Richard Mack, Founder and President of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association will present a workshop to answer the question: “When Government becomes abusive and tyrannical, to whom can the people turn?”

During the workshop he will present the evidence that places us, the local community, as the first and last line of defense in America for upholding our Constitutional Freedoms. He was the first sheriff in American history to sue the Federal Government over constitutional rights and win. He will talk about this case and how important it is for each of us to understand our rights.

Saturday March 11th, 1:30 to 3:30:
“Protecting Life until the Last Breath”

The pro-life movement is not just about saving defenseless unborn children from slaughter, it’s also about promoting the dignity of the human person and defending their worth and value until their natural death. There is a nation-wide threat to diminish the worth of human life because of adverse physical and mental conditions and laws are being introduced in Ohio and across the country to end these lives so as to “remove the burden”.

Paula Westwood, Executive Director of Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati, Barry Sheets Owner of Principled Policy Consulting, LLC, and Bobby Schindler, President of the Terri Schiavo Life and Hope Network will present a workshop to help Prolifers answer the following questions: How do we fight back? What must we watch for? What are the signs of abuse in the system both legal and medical?
